Galaxy Bonds WPR 101

Description

GalaxyBonds WPR 101 is a multipurpose, ready-to-use liquid admixture designed specifically to accelerate setting time and enhance early strength development in concrete and mortar.

Usage

This admixture is highly effective for the production of:

  • Footpath Paver Blocks
  • Hollow Blocks
  • Concrete Bricks
  • Tiles and Pre-cast elements

Characteristics / Advantages

  • Enhanced Strength: Increases both compressive and flexural strength significantly.
  • Superior Durability: Provides high resistance to damage from freezing and thawing cycles—well above industry standards.
  • Water Reduction: Reduces the water content required to achieve a specific level of workability.
  • Rapid Set: Features accelerated setting time characteristics for faster production cycles.

Benefits

  • Cost Efficiency: Allows for earlier finishing of slabs, significantly reducing labor costs.
  • Weather Resistance: Reduces required protection time during cold weather applications.
  • Faster Turnaround: Enables earlier stripping and reuse of formwork.
  • Early Structural Use: Facilitates quicker structural use of concrete in applications like lift-slabs, tilt-ups, paving, and flooring.
  • Ease of Use: Easy to disperse within concrete mixtures, avoiding the clumping and mixing issues often associated with flake calcium.

Application Information

  • Dosage: Typically 500 ml to 2 kg (or 2–4% by weight) per 50 kg bag of cement. Dosage may vary depending on specific field conditions and requirements.
  • Compatibility: GalaxyBonds WPR 101 may be used in combination with other GalaxyBonds admixtures. However, each admixture must be dispensed separately into the mixture to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Storage & Caution

  • Storage: Store under cover, out of direct sunlight, and protect from extreme temperatures. GalaxyBonds WPR 101 must be stored in temperatures above +5°C. If the product freezes, thaw and agitate until completely reconstituted.
  • Safety: This product is not a fire or health hazard. Spillages should be washed down immediately with cold water.
  • MSDS: For further information, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
